Enquire
Send us your ACIS certification document and any changes in scope or services. We can provide you with a quote.
Engage
We'll provide you with a service agreement for your audit. If you have applied for special consideration, we will try to align your ACIS and NDIS at this stage to save you time and money.
Provide Documents
Send any requested documents through to us and we'll book your audit date with one of our specialist ACIS auditors.
On-site Audit
Your auditor(s) will then meet with you and your team face to face or remotely and audit against the scope or the surveillance program and cover off any outstanding issues from previous audits. This audit will involve interviewing clients and staff across community care, NDIS, private and other clients such as with the insurers.
Reporting
Your auditor will produce a report with their recommendation. This will then undergo a Peer Review process by another lead auditor who will validate the findings and recommendation.
Approval
You have the chance to review the audit report before we submit it to ACIA.
Decision
The Lead Auditor, in conjunction with CAA and the Peer Review Team consider a variety of information about your business, including our report and make a final decision about your ongoing certification and scope of services.
Submission to ACIA
Your report and our recommendation are submitted electronically to the ACIA who will update their ACIS register.
Renewal
You'll need to ensure that you book in with CAA at least 6 months before your next surveillance audit. At 3 years, you will need to apply for your registration to be renewed.... and the cycle starts again. Don't forget to contact CAA at least 6 months prior to ensure we have your date booked in. Also please note that ACIS 2018 providers have till November 2023 to transition to ACIS 4.0.
